Youtube: the easy way to get thumbnails, the icon, and the UI.
JavaScript: for making my life easy, and not having to do this in PHP
Youtube's use friendly thumbnail infostructer: for making it so that I don't have to use the YouTube API(which sucks)
Hi! I'm Steve0Greatness. I have interests in web development, coding, and some content creation; but I wouldn't consider myself that great at it. I made this because I sometimes like to look at the thumnnail for a video, but I find it hard, as there's no "view thumbnail" button.
How?
It's easy, simply copy the id(the part in the url after watch?v=. Eg, dQw4w9WgXcQ is the id for Rick Astly's "Never Gonna Give You Up") of the YouTube video, then paste it into the box above. If you don't know how to get the id, use this(found below).

Here are some more things I did... I guess.
Click the preview to open it in a new tab
Click the text that shows the link to copy it

thumbnail shape.
Also, the new shape of thumbnails doesn't work on older videos such as Me at the zoo by jawed, so it doesn't let you switch to it. This is so that you don't get that YouTube thumbnail 404.
Also, if a video you tried doesn't exist, it uses my own custom 404 thumbnail
